Students planning to apply to veterinary medical school after graduation can earn a degree from the Life Sciences Department of Santa Monica College and follow the recommended Pre-Veterinary course of study. From there, you may choose to attend the Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine, which has provisional accreditation from the American Veterinary Medical Association; or you may attend the fully accredited University of California - Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
